Our winery has a 5 star rating from James Halliday, visit the cellar door to sample the range wines from the esteemed Kalgan River vineyard. Beyond the cellar door is the expansive dining area overlooking the brewery and kitchen offering space for a large group or an intimate meal for two. The menu features seasonal, local produce, French inspired desserts and wood fired pizzas. Craft beer is brewed on site. The extensive beer garden is the perfect spot to relax over a hand-crafted brew while enjoying the life music over the summer months. Local Food and Drink with a Laid-Back Vibe
The Denmark Tavern, just on the edge of town, is a relaxed, family-friendly local serving up classic pub favourites and seasonal specials made with fresh Great Southern produce. From burgers and parmis to local beers, wines, and spirits, there’s something for everyone—whether you’re after a casual bite or a proper feed with friends. Make sure to leave room for dessert—favourites include the lemon and raspberry crème brûlée or the salted caramel peanut parfait, both gluten free and seriously delicious. Open 7 days, there’s something on most nights—Pool Comp Wednesday, Chase the Ace Thursday, Karaoke Friday (get up and have a go!), and live music on some weekends. Happy Hour runs daily from 5–6pm. The Dam offers sustainably produced artisanal products available at their on-site shop or online. The range includes Gourmet Truffle products, wines, spirits, seltzers, and ginger beers all made from the finest produce grown on the farm. Each product undergoes a rigorous distillation process resulting in exceptional taste and quality.
The Denmark Health Shop stocks a good range of seasonal organic fresh vegetables and fruit. They also have honey, nuts, seeds, cheeses, oils, dry, tinned goods, teas, health care, body care, make up, natural remedies plus more.
Pawprint Chocolate on Hollings Road has a flavour for everyone. Australian-made chocolate as a base and prepares, roasts, toasts, slices and dices fresh and preserved products to make the unique flavour selection. Other delights include gift packs and culinary treats such as relish, dukkah, muffin and brownie mixes.
Valley of the Giants Olives and Wines is located on a hillside with views over the Walpole Wilderness National Park. Wine, olive oil, olives and soap. Come and spend some time in this beutiful place with the very friendly hosts.
Enjoy honey icecream and delicious mead at Bartholomews Meadery. A lovely selection of Bee wares including gifts, honey, remedies, candles, skincare, toys, books, chocolate, mead and liqueur on sale! It is one of the few meaderies in Australia. While you are there you can watch the bees at work, in a glass hive... try and spot the Queen. This is fascinating for visitors of all ages.
The Good Food Factory sells a range of delicious toffees, nut brittles, gourmet sauces, chutneys, preserves, salsas, tapenades, dressings & olives. It has a wooden house and grass area out the front for the children and boasts 'Denmark's Biggest Cone'! By the riverside
Ravens, down by the river has a great range of food, cookies, slices and juices. They also sell coffee, tea, produce and gifts. You can dine on the verandah, indoors or take away. Berridge Park and the Denmark River is opposite so you can dine across from the River's edge.
Tea House Books, opposite the riverbank, on the Gazebo side, is a great book store which also stocks a unique and clever range of gifts and toys! Have a coffee and cake whilst browsing the books, what a clever and inspiring blend! This is a family run business, like most in Denmark and it is an experience not to be missed. At Tea House Books they feature local products and offer an intimate book buying experience. Children will love it too!
